The first-launched WISE Youth Internship Scheme 2025 under “W.I.S.E” Youth Financial Management Education Project concluded successfully with an achievement ceremony on September 13, 2025.Our organization sincerely thanks the HKEX Foundation for the funding and Hong Kong Community Chest for their allocation and monitoring.
The scheme recruited 50 local and non-Chinese youth in June. After training and selection, 21 youth were matched with employer partners to experience a 5-day practical work placement in July and August. We appreciate the participation of 14 companies and organizations, which allowed the youth to gain deep insights into the workplace, broaden their understanding of various industries, explore future directions early, thereby inspiring them to manage their lives more effectively.
On September 13, 2025, at the achievement ceremony, youths, employer partners, and family members gathered to mark the end of this internship scheme and to offer their blessings to the youth. In addition to awarding internship certificates and expressions of gratitude, there was a sharing session where employer representatives and intern representatives shared memorable experiences from the internship process.
Promoting the development of young people’s lives and careers requires multifaceted support, including the enthusiasm of the youth, the acceptance of employers, and the encouragement of family. The program will continue to connect with various community stakeholders to promote financial education for young people.
The “Joining Opportunities for Non-Chinese Youngsters” Chinese Learning Support Programme (Phase 2) successfully concluded on August 31, 2025. Our organization sincerely thanks the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) for their support and funding from the Language Fund. This project has helped non-Chinese speaking children build a solid foundation in Chinese, expanding their future opportunities, while also successfully encouraging non-Chinese speaking parents to actively participate. The video showcases the valuable experiences and gains of non-Chinese speaking children, their parents, volunteers, and participating schools throughout the project. We invite everyone to join us in reflecting on this journey and sharing in this joy.
